So, I have had quite a few people ask me about what I believe is a great foundation. I could talk for hours on this topic because frankly, I haven't found anything yet that I feel is the end all be all of foundations. BUT if you're asking me what is a pretty good foundation for a great price, then it's definitely Covergirl TRUblend whipped foundation. It goes on really nice, and gives you that matte finish you're looking for. An extra perk of this product is that it is SUPER easy to use. Just apply to your ring finger (it's the weakest finger so it will prevent causing wrinkles and stretching skin) and swipe everywhere you need coverage. It will blend in with your natural color of your face, so it's a perfect foundation for beginners as well. Now normally I wouldn't encourage anyone to apply makeup with your hands, because your fingers and hands are so bacteria ridden, it can cause pimples and imperfections, but, this is the type of makeup that works best when put on with just your hands. So be sure to wash your hands really well before applying! So there you have it. My best pick for a low cost foundation, that you really can't go wrong with. :)

Wish I read this before I spent $44 on Smashbox haha. I didn't know you blogged, Krysta. I like it! I shall pop in more often :)
ReplyDeleteHi who is this? Smashbox is a GREAT brand of makeup. I expecially love all of their lipglosses, but it is a little pricey. My stuff will focus more of lower cost items.. but if you find a product you love i'd love your input and i'll post it to my blog:) thanks for reading and commenting!!
